The Best Adult Diapers From Those Who Actually Wear Them

Over the course of my life, I have gone through MANY diapers to find the ones that work best for me and MY needs. Since I have tried so many diapers and have the experience necessary to know what is good I’ve compiled a series of lists to help you find the diapers that will work best for you!

The best adult diapers available today are the Northshore Megamax, Confidry 24/7, BetterDry Diapers, Abena Abri-Form, Northshore Supreme, Northshore Supreme Lite, Tranquility ATN’s, and Wellness Diapers. Some of the best ABDL diapers are Tykables Koda Cub, The Little For Big Little Dreamers, Trest diapers, ABU Peekabu, ABU Dino Rawrz, and Tykables Galactic.

The diapers listed here are by no means inclusive of ALL the potentially best diaper options on the market. These are just the ones I have experience with and can say with certainty are great products.

In the following sections, I will expand upon these options and present you with a multitude of other options that I believe would work just fine based on my wealth of experience wearing all kinds of diapers.

The Best Daytime Diapers

When it comes to the right type of daytime diaper there are a number of factors that you need to consider.

First and foremost should be the level of protection you need to get through your day comfortably. Most adults that need to wear diapers still have jobs they need to go to.

It is impractical to wear a product that requires you to change every hour or two. Yet due to an overwhelming concern that someone will notice that one is wearing a diaper, people often go with products that are too thin for their needs.

This leads to a lot of distress and discomfort that are totally avoidable.

With that in mind, I’ve comprised a list of 12 potential daytime diapers you might be interested in trying out!

Most of the diapers on this list lay somewhere in the midrange level of thickness but have more than enough absorbency to get you to your first break or even your lunch break.

Back when I still worked in an office like the one in the thumbnail of the video above, I used to change at midday pretty regularly despite how much my diaper could still absorb.

A lot of the diapers on this list will actually last for a full 8 hour shift but when you push some of them that far you’re asking for trouble. This is where knowing your diaper and your body come in handy.

After enough time of wearing a specific diaper, you’ll come to more easily recognize the sensations and signs of when you can push it further.

As stated in the video above the last 4 diapers on this list are being impacted by the current ongoing supply chain issues. It really depends on where you are in the world on whether or not you will have access to them.

One thing I missed when making the above YouTube video is that the Foresite AM/PM diaper actually is available in plain white as well as purple with white stars. Plus of course the two pinstripe designs I covered in the video too.

It looks like the Foresite lineup of diapers has some great potential options for those you who may be in the EU. They are likely far easier to get and try there.

The Best Overnight Diapers For Adults

As an almost lifelong bedwetter, I have tried many diapers that just didn’t absorb enough to be able to last through the night without leaking.

There are many products that are labeled in a misleading way. Especially when you are new to needing to wear diapers and don’t know much about the various products available yet.

To help you sort it out, here is a list of adult diapers that make for great adult bedwetting diapers!

All of the diapers here work well for a variety of types of bedwetters and overnight incontinence.

While I don’t often talk about a lot of these diapers’ ability to handle bowel accidents the vast majority of them will contain them just fine. Especially the ones with solid leg guards. Which almost all the diapers on this list have.

So if you happen to have those sorts of accidents while asleep too, many of these diapers will be good for that as well.

The other thing about this list is I generally gravitate to and recommend plastic backed diapers as I think they are far better at containing smells as well as preventing your inner thigh from chafing.

Opinions on plastic backed vs cloth backed can differ and some prefer the cloth backed kinds over the plastic backed. Just know that no matter which you go with studies show there is virtually no difference on the cloth backed exterior diapers when it comes to the health of your skin in your diaper area.

I still assert that they are more likely to cause friction rashes but one way you might be able to avoid that is with the use of my new diaper powder I developed! Try it out for yourself here!

Of all of the diapers on the above list I would say that perhapt the Tranquility ATN and the LivDry diapers might be the only ones that won’t meet the needs of the average bedwetter.

I included the ATNs because I do know a lot of people that use them simply because they are really affordable. They can work good for you if you pair them with some tranquility booster pads too.

The LivDry diaper by itself isn’t going to be a good option for bedwetting but it COULD be if you get one of the shaped pad inserts that are designed to go with it.

It is an interesting diaper in that it is the only disposable diaper I currently know of that uses what’s called a two piece system. To learn more about the LivDry diaper check out this video here!

Of course, the diapers on the above list do not comprise all the potential available options there are. While some people are put off by the sorts of prints on ABDL diapers there are A LOT of really great diapers available that fall into this category.

The Best ABDL Diapers

Historically speaking I have typically shied away from buying ABDL diapers. Not because I have anything against them. I actually like a lot of them!

I just always have avoided them because they usually cost a bit more than the Confidry diapers I normally wear. (plus I prefer the classic white look myself)

I’m currently putting together a large table on a different page comparing ALL diapers and their cost per diaper when bought by the case. After doing that I can see that a lot of them have a cost per diaper that fall somewhere between the Confidry 24/7 and the Northshore Megamax.

Lately, thanks to my Patreon program, I’ve been trying a lot more of them and collecting my data points. There are a few that are very impressive in way of their utility and comfortability.

I will be putting together more detailed reviews in both video format and blog posts of these diapers once I have enough data points collected on them. So far these are the ones that I have tried that I think perform really well!

Say what you will about their looks but for their prices and performance levels, they are ACTUALLY worth looking into. You never know, maybe you will end up liking them.

As someone who takes a really close look at ALL of these types of products for my work, I’m actually a bit surprised to realize how all of these diapers compare with the “regular medical” side of the market.

Let me be clear, I’m not at all surprised they are good quality diapers. I guess I’m surprised to realize that their level of expense isn’t as high as I’ve always perceived.

Personally, I think some of the prints are pretty cool! Especially the space ones! I’ll always be a geeky space kid at my core.

I’m also a bit indifferent to how a diaper looks as long as the diaper is comfortable and does its proper job. That said, it is a bit fun to wear a more fun looking diaper!

Just because we need to wear diapers doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with it too!

The Best Pull Ups For Adults

When it comes to the different types of pull ups available to choose from my experience is a bit more limited.

This is because they generally are not a very good option for moderate to heavy forms of incontinence issues like what I have. They are primarily for the lighter sorts of issues like urine leaking a bit after going to the bathroom or peeing when you sneeze.

As a result, I HAD to test out several brands of adult pull ups and definitely plan to cover more options in the future. I discovered I can get away with searing SOME of them to the gym.

ESPECIALLY if I work up a good sweat. I find it serves as extra motivation to do so.

Here are a few pull up brands that I think would make for great options for anyone with very light to light sorts of issues.

  • Tena
  • Depend
  • Northshore GoSupreme

Unfortunately at this time this is the best list of pull ups that I can confidently provide. In the interest of full disclosure, at this point in time I’ve never actually tried the Northshore pull ups but I’d be shocked if it doesn’t keep up with the other three on the list.

There were other brands I was considering including such as the Abena pull ups or maybe even the Bambino slip on briefs but I’ve had so many bad experiences with pull ups that I can’t confidently recommend any others until I actually try them out.
